During the pandemic, we recorded songs remotely because cramming 12 people into a small space and spitting on a shared microphone during a deadly plague made little sense. Everyone was preoccupied, so we didn't complete most of the songs. Here's a couple that squeaked through.

Out of Luck

This was our first attempt at Out of Luck by The Pointed Sticks, a band Drew loved when he was a teenager. They got signed to Stiff Records in Britain (slogan: If it ain't Stiff it ain't worth a fuck!) Stiff is the same label that signed Elvis Costello. In any case, they went to Britain to record their debut album and proceeded to get drunk and stoned until the record label got feed up. Their album is not as good as their singles. All the piss and vinegar were gone.

Alex and I made this video, but others contributed guitar, vocal and keyboard parts. We recorded a better version in 2023 with the whole band. We lip-synced the video so it's a little out of time.
